BO1 is decided by one round, while BO3 and BO5 require more round wins; the duel interface shows the selected format before the match starts.

The duel system controls the match loadout and protects normal inventory state around supported matches.
Do not move, drop or transfer items while a duel is starting or restoring. Use the server confirmation as the authority for the selected kit and rules.
A structured duel has to protect both players' normal inventories while applying a known competitive loadout. The save/apply/restore lifecycle is therefore one of the most sensitive parts of the system.
Players should avoid moving or dropping items during transition windows because doing so can make a legitimate restoration problem harder to diagnose and can create exploit risk.
BO1 rewards immediate execution, while BO3 and BO5 give players room to adapt to the matchup. Longer series reduce one-round variance but require more time and consistency.
The NPC-first flow makes the opponent, kit, match length and wager visible before either player commits. It also gives the server a controlled point to save inventory state and apply duel-specific restrictions.
